On behalf of the 480 businesses that make up the Hilliard Area Chamber of Commerce, we are proud to endorse Issue 39 and the Hilliard City Schools.
Great schools are good for our community. It is why people choose to live in our school district and businesses choose to locate here. Issue 39 will preserve our quality schools and ensure Hilliard remains a great place to live and work.
In keeping with our mission, the Chamber works to “Collectively build business success and a strong community.” A significant part of any community’s economic success is tied to the success of its school systems. The Chamber Board supports Issue 39 as an investment in a high quality educational system and its facilities. A ‘yes’ vote is a vote for our future workforce and an improved quality of life for our citizens.
Businesses want to operate in a city where its employees and their families can thrive. Along with that, they want to be located in a city with public schools that regularly produce work-ready employees. If we want Hilliard business to continue to prosper, we need to invest into our public schools.
Please vote for Issue 39 on November 5.
